Ricor’s wooden bike is inspired by the new technology by Olympus – 3-Dimensional compression molding process for wooden materials. This material has the feel and grain pattern of natural wood, but is much harder than engineering plastics such as ABS and polycarbonate resins. The frame is hollow that used organic structure to emphasize the amazing intensity and flexibility of compressed wooden material. And it can show the delicate, natural surface just without the need of color spray.
